1. What We Collect

We collect your email, first name, age, height, weight, goal weight, activity level, workout completions, and weight log entries. This information is used to personalize your plan and track progress.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to build your workout schedule, calculate BMI and trend estimates, show progress charts, and send optional reminders. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Third-Party Services

We use Spoonacular and USDA FoodData Central to enrich recipe and nutrition information. These calls are made through our backend; your personal data is not shared with these services.

4. Storage & Security

Your data is stored in encrypted cloud databases with row-level access controls. We use industry-standard measures to protect it, but no online service is 100% secure.

5. Your Rights

You can update or delete your profile and weight logs from the app. You can permanently delete your whole account at any time in the app: open the YOU tab, then tap Delete account. This removes your login, profile, weigh-ins and workout history immediately. Questions? Contact support@thelazydad.app.

6. Cookies & Local Storage

We use local storage to remember your measurement preference and session state. On our website (not inside the phone apps), we use Google Analytics to measure visits and the Meta Pixel to measure page views and account sign-ups from our Facebook and Instagram ads. Meta receives your browser details, the pages you visit, and sign-up events so we can measure and improve our ads. We don't load the Meta Pixel for visitors in the EU, UK, Switzerland, or Brazil. You can block these with your browser's tracking or ad-blocking settings, or contact support to ask about your data.

7. Children

The Lazy Dad is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be noted in the app.

9. Contact

For privacy questions or data requests, contact support@thelazydad.app.
